I've sen some unhooned come in with a blown turbo....the WRX turbo is mint though and never lets loose.

Very true.... But I can run any turbo, boost, cat (or no cats), tune, fuel, etc. I'd like at any time and people appreciate it here.

That and those that burn leaded or drink unleaded in the single digit range are only on the road 6 months a year (and limited mileage, since anyone with one has two cars). So that has a massive effect.
